I think you kind of missed my point on that, and I'm fairly sure you did so on purpose. If people don't have sense enough not to huff glue, banning it won't really make much difference in their lives, they will just find something else to scramble their brains with, while the rest of us will be stuck with that crappy orange smelling glue that works about as well as dried spit for assembling plastic model kits. People need to take responsibilty for their own lives, and we can't assign a government nanny to everyone just because a few people truly are too incompetent to live without one.

You are corect. I am not dumb. But, I will never agree with legalizing illegal drugs because people misuse other substances. I agree that people must take responsibility for their own lives. And, I will go even further and say that this entire exercise is probably a waste. When people want something badly enough, they will obtain it.

And, I think that our society is far enough down the tubes that all the laws that we can pass will probably not be enough to prevent the hardcore users and others from obtaining illegal drugs.

We have become corrupted from within, and all the king's horses and all the king's men will not be enough to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
