Scary stuff, indeed. The dumber-than-a-box-of-rocks congress-critters back in DC can point fingers all they want (and try pointing a few at themselves while they're at it), but the stark fact is that another attack is a virtual certainty. Doesn't mean we avoid doing everything humanly possible to prevent it. Just that these radical Islamist terrorists use a form of guerrilla warfare that is extremely difficult to defend against. They pick the day, time, the means, and the target. They mix in unobstrusively with the civilian population until they act. And their target is the civilian population itself. If it were easy to stop, there would be no more suicide bombings in Israel.

Gone are most of the flags in shops and on hats, etc. When I wear my flag-hat on the subway, or on the street, the white likely New York Times readers look at me with distain.
