Thank you so much. Here is one of my favorite photos of Dubya in appreciation. I think all the stress of 9/11 has made him lose weight. He must exercise alot when he gets stressed.

Well Cyndi Actually that what Tom Brokaw mention on Inside the Real West Wing that NBC special Dubya does exercise when dude is stress out Sometime he lift weight Some he run in the running path with First Doggies chasing after him

The fun part of today was that the President proposed in War on Terror speech to Congress last September that the Office of Homeland Security be made a cabinet position. But there was opposition. So he let it perk and perk and now the Democrats are yelling for it to become a cabinet position and W. opens his eyes wide and says, "uh, okay..."
LOL!
There really is nobody better in a briar patch than Dubya!!

Thank you for the info. I did not watch that, I was afraid it would be a liberal bashing Bush! I knew he ran and worked out, but he has lost more weight than I had realized. I am sure the senate is stressing him out. They sure can stress me out!

You're in Sacramento? I live about 40 miles east of you of off I80. Our evenings are much cooler.

We do too. Janice and I like Trading Spaces and a lot of the shows on HGTV. One of her preschool friends works for HGTV. TS comes up with some wierd designs and then there are some that make you want to go out and get the material to do a room like they do. They make it all seem so easy. MamaB

I am sure they probably do love ex-42. PETA is nothing but another one of those wacko groups. I love dogs but I have no use for that organization.

Actually NBC just had a clip of Rush's response to the proposal(maybe they have a 24/7 subscription?!) He actually was saying that this was a good proposal. Yes, it would expand gov't, but its national security and a wise reorganization.
I bet Rush is quite positive about the whole thing. Guess we'll know for sure on Monday.

These are wonderful pictures. So bright and vibrant. Our President looks great tonight. Glad I got to see these since I didn't get to watch the speech. Busy night getting my son to his hockey game and then my other son to baseball practice and then going back to pick up at the hockey.....well you know how it is.
Husband is working hard at the annual TEXAS FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL so it was up to me tonight. But I am sure if I look I will find plenty of info on freerepublic about the speech, i won't even have to turn on the tube. THANKS for the great pixs you are one in a million.

I would hate to try to do what they do in 2 days. Whew!! Talk about being tired!!! Did you see the show when they did one of the Dixie Chicks room and her mother's? That was very interesting. I forgot her name but she really seemed like your next door neighbor type of person. She was painting the ceiling and paint dripped off the ceiling onto her. They were somewhere in Texas. MamaB

Hmmmm...that's strange, Diddle. I heard Rush only briefly while I was in the car today. He was saying that it would be dangerous because we won't always have a Republican in the White House. Perhaps I only heard one small part of what he said. Thanks for telling me. BTW, I've always loved your screen name.
