Drudge calls print media "the legacy media", horse buggies being swept aside in the internet era.

Now I am thinking more and more of conventional NY publishing houses as "the legacy publishing industry", being swept aside by custom fit and marketed self publishers using the power of the net.

That may end up being true ... but still, hitting the stands in the tens of thousands of Waldenbook's and B. Dalton's in all of the malls across the country is the quickest avenue to large volume sales.

We may see that change over the next few years ... and it is in the process now ... but the potential numbers through brick and mortar sales are still the highest.

Personally, I am willing to take whatever exposure for the series that I can honorably conjure up through persistance, hard work and commitment to getting it out. From there, I figure it is in the good Lord's hands.
