This is one of the advantages of self publishing. If you did swing a standard NY publishing contract, you would have no marketing besides what you are already doing on your own, and if the book did not sell from the shelves in 90 days it would be "remaindered", sent back, you'd eat it, and have the mark of doom put on you.
IOW, a NY publishing contract with its tiny advance and 10% royalties is a crap shoot where 90% lose totally. In self publishing, you give yourself time to build a head of steam one review at a time.
Either way ... I am committed to getting the entire series out there. ALmost done with Vol. II and have to get Vol. III finished for Christmas.
Luckily I do not depend on the books at this point for major income. If it turns out to be that way some day ... that's great icing.
