No. I am not saying that. I was pointing out the times (and they are few, so far) that you can see very subtle signs of lying. These are things like saying "uh......NO" then shaking your head YES. Have you read books on the study of BODY LANGUAGE? I have, and you can become very familiar with these little 'telltales'. It is a technique that is used to great advantage in playing POKER, for instance.

Yes, she is nervous. Also, I don't think Brenda knows what happened to her daughter. I think she believes Westerfield may have been the culprit.

BUT she has been practicing, and knows she must stick to the stories that have already been told, or Westerfield may go free.

It's ok to practice whether one is a defendant or a plaintiff..or a victim. If her story is impossible to confirm, I can understand what you are saying...now I can't remember all the questions.. but the transcripts would indicate whether the comments can be verified..by others.
