Larry, thanks for the ping. David, I'm curious how you feel about this. Is it the preference of our people in the military to abolish peacekeeping missions? I honestly don't know, and I just wonder what you think. Maybe it is their preference.

From what I've seen on FR and conservative writers, yes. From those I know on active duty, I would say so. Even more important is getting rid of the PC nonsense. That drove many good people out during the Clinton years. We had 50 year old officers who had been married for 30 years having to take courses on sexual harassment. Pilots we spent millions training and who had spotless records and should have been doing their jobs were sitting in classrooms as if they were 14 year old boys being lectured on what is bad behavior.
