Yep. The economy is showing that folks aren't believing what they're being told. That's both good and bad. Bad for the markets and the power-elites; good for the folks who are putting on their rain gear and preparing for the coming storm.

Something else to watch for: when the control freaks perceive that something is slipping from their grasps, whether through external forces or internal collapse, they will instinctively tighten their grip.
