Interesting; different standards in different states, I suppose. In my hometown, they do not have million dollar homes available for open houses.

I don't think it's a standard, I think it is the seller's option. Our house is up for sale and believe me, it ain't no million $ home, but I refused to have open houses because I didn't want strangers walking freely through my house. Normally it's the same way here...you don't even get a price in the upperclass homes; it just says, "Call for a private viewing today".

I could be wrong..no wait...the media could be wrong..but that is what they said yesterday. I heard it with my own two ears. Open house and renovations going on.
