8 people living in the house is another thing that bothers me about him 'not knowing his way around the house'. With no knowledge of the house, how did he manage to make it directly to her room without wandering into any of the other bedrooms? It demonstrates he had a minimum knowledge of the homes layout. If he has enough knowledge to make it to her room on the first try, then he should have been able to make it out rather easily.

I am not saying it didnt happen exactly as being reported. But the high amount of cases recently of girls going missing at the hands of internet chatters, by choice or not, is a possibility that clealry needs to be examined.

A neighbor has described this girl's parents as having been "very protective" of her.....so protective that she was not allowed to attend sleep-overs at a nearby friend's house. Perhaps the parents had a problem with her attending a sleep-over at this particular home, but this bit of information makes me wonder just how restrictive home life was for this girl. At any rate, these do not sound like the sort of parents who would allow their daughter unsupervised access to internet chat rooms. Like you, I find the 9 year old's story a bit suspicious. I would be curious to know how she described her sister's reactions during the alleged abduction.

I agree, there are a lot of loose ends here.
