I thought the George W. Algore remark was in an email he read on the show? Not original to Rush. Why blame him for a comment from a listener?

Doesn't matter if it was in an email. Rush should have known better. It was replayed on many liberal news programs and served no good purpose, except to insult the President. Another example of conservatives eating their own, one more time.

My co worker claims that Rush disavowed the Republican Party today, said his allegiance was never to the Republican Party ,but to his own principles. He also reiterated why he supported Pat Buchanan over GB41,in the primaries. If true,Rush has confirmed today, what many of us suspected the last few months, that he has left the party of Lincoln and Reagan and GW.Can anyone confirm this? If true, I should think that Drudge would have a flashing red light declaring, " Rush Limbaugh leaves the Republican Party"!!!

Rush also put the Algore comment as a big banner on his website and ran a graphic of Bush morphing into Algore. Hardly only a listener's sentiment.
