Rush has, in the last 2 weeks, gained more of my respect than ever b4.
To: Antoninus
Sure, and consider the light in which he puts FR the few times he does mention it.
To: codebreaker
"LOL! We are now a 'Rush verb...'" It tickles me no end. :D
To: Howlin;rintense

Well, when he comes over hear and reads threads where sentiments match the emails, he probably gives them some merit.

Limbaugh is making the same mistake that many of the hysterics among the conservative movement are making; they're reacting to what Dubya is saying as much or more than to what he is doing.
Politics involves compromises and a politician who can't get elected can't accomplish jacksquat.
If Dubya has signed some legislation which conservatives don't like, he has also rejected some treaties which would have been disasterous such as Kyoto and the ICC.
He has also made it possible for America to develop an anti-missle defense system.
As for Taliban Pat Buchanan, convince me that ANY true conservative presidential candidate would choose a radical-leftist lesbian as a running mate.

"Rush throwing FR an bone. Truth is he thinks everyone on FR is a nutbag." I don't believe that for a minute.
He's just chiding the FReepers who are nutbags.
And many of us know who they are. :D
What is your opinion of what I wrote in #14?
To: Dog
He tried that yesterday. It won't work.

For Rush to claim his rant the other day caused the President to come out and rip that report is galling.
The world doesnt' revolve around that motor mouth..
Limbaugh crossed a line the other day with his W A;gore comment.

You guys think this is a compliment?
"Don't go "Freeper" on me" ?
What are the logical substitutes? Crazy, postal, hysterical, nutzoid, wacko, psycho, bonkers ...
Yeah, that's about where FR's at right now in the bigger world of sane humans. Sorry, that doesn't amuse me.
To: Texaggie79
For what? Sticking to principle? If Rush was standing up for principle .. I would be the first to say ... GO RUSH
Until then, all he is doing is pissing me off

"Limbaugh is making the same mistake..." Did you happen to see what I sketched out in #14? :D
To: dawn53
I have to say, Rush does that too often. I like Rush but he often gets too full of himself and thinks he can take credit for anything he mentions on the radio. I've even caught him taking credit for things others have said days prior to his talking about it. Like O'Reilly, Rush doesn't always do his homework before talking.
To: Matchett-PI
I will always be grateful to Rush for opening my eyes about the incredible bias of the media by showing me 4 video clips:
1. B.J. Clinton cursing out an aide at the first Easter Party.
2. B.J. Clinton crying crocodile tears at Ron Brown's funeral.
3. Al Gore not recognizing the founding fathers-even those on our currency.
4. Jesse Jackson's "hymie-town" remark.
Contrast that with how they show every slip up a Republican makes. Especially contrast B.J. Clinton's cursing an aide and President Bush's calling Clymer an a$$hole. Absolutely there is bias by the press for Democrats and against Republicans. Too bad Rush doesn't show those clips again. It would really be an eye opener for some people. ( I have a copy of the Ron Brown funeral but not the other ones.)

Actually, I will never listen to him again. The George W. Algore thing was the last straw, as well as the morph on his web site. I won't e-mail him, though. I WILL make sure I call the local station and also will fill out the Arbitron ratings. He could have been a contender. "Pride goeth before a fall, and a haughty spirit before destruction." That is doing the very thing you accuse the Bush cricizers of...namely, cutting off your nose to spite your face. Rush is an invaluable asset to conservatives. Don't let a little disagreeing with him make you lose sight of that. (Isn't that the same argument you guys keep giving for supporting Bush? The difference is...Bush is betraying me, Rush is not. That's the difference to me anyway. I will support him when I have to, as will Rush, I'm sure.)
