The "mindless" comment was in post #3, before all the otheres. Not defending ad hominem in general, but LDD was first out of the box, then complains when it is served right back. If he wants to challenge support for Israel, let him do so with facts rather than initiating with a rant about the "mindlessness" of those who disagree. Else, he shouldn't complain that it gets served right back at him.
Lion Den Dan's comment about 'mindless support', whether you agree or disagree with it, was not ad hominem. It was an assertion, not a personal attack. Unfortunately, many of the responses he received were hateful personal attacks. We can judge who is flooding this forum with hate propaganda. It isn't pro-Arab groups.
