"Rush comes clean, sort of. How about the resident Bush-bangers?"

Well, this makes Bush about one out of ten, but it's encouraging. When he doesn't do the right thing, like Steel tariffs, it come back to bite him bad. All Rush has been saying, and what the "Bush bashers" are saying, is that he knows better AND he doesn't get any political credit in the long run from compromising on principle.

I think the nutty ones here are the Bushophiles that act like the "Hear No, See No, Speak No Evil" monkeys.

I disagree with on the steel tariffs. He campaigned in WV that he would do it and he did it. He kept a campaign promise. Isn't that the principled thing to do? I mean Clinton promised he would it too and he didn't. See the difference?

I might be way off, but maybe Rush learned more of the Bush strategy than is mentioned. Could it be that Rush got inside info regarding the war on terror? Maybe the White House gave some implications regarding Iraq? Who knows, but it appears here that Rush is backing off a little and is complimenting the President more now on how his overall strategy is working. Does anyone else wonder about any of this or am I just off in left field?
