It ain't about me. Pay closer attention to his rants and you will come to the same conclusion as you did with the article. Lots of noise without much substance. I quit listening to him about the middle of Clinton's second term. Got tired of golfing stories and name dropping. My guess is he has stolen as many "original ideas" as Doris Kerns Goodwin.

I hear you, and perhaps my original tone was over the top. No offense. But I wouldn't go so far as to label him a phoney. The man's done a great deal for conservatism; given voice to many of our thoughts over the years, I daresay. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, given his track record. (But your point is well taken)
