I don't hate soccer because of politics, it's just that way that liberals tend to love things European and "sophisticated." They think that American football is too brutish. But even if conservatives liked it, a score of 1-0 and lots of kicking withe no results is never going to appeal to me.

But I used to enjoy running down the field kicking the ball. I also played the goalie position a lot in elementary school, and it was fun. If you like to play it, that's fine.

But we Americans would lose our distinctivness (and sanity) if we became the same as the bland Europeans and the poor third-world countries that like to watch soccer. But certainly it's not just soccer that makes them bland, it's socialism, homo faggot promotion, and weird sounding pop music. (I watched some of the Internationl Music Awards)
