My take, from the NYT, via Drudge and Rush was that:
The Dubya administration (1) Admitted Global Warming (2) Blamed us for it.
I am sick of being guilten and slammed by peta, the enviro-weenies, the euro-weenies and all the other weenies.
If it were true, then it would have been a major, major policy shift and completely and totally the fault of shoddy science and Dubya's EPA (headed by the useless Christy Whitman, a Dubya appointee) Especially after he laughed off Koyoto. Total 180.
But from my scanning and search I didn't find anything other than what basically ammounts to: "Yeah, maybe it is getting hotter.. but there's no data to prove it's our fault or that we could do anything about it even if we wanted to.. So screw it and just wear shorts"
That's a far cry from the provocative quotes I saw on Drudge and heard from Rush. Perhaps I missed something, the document is linked and other FReepers are free to read it and point out any errors on my part if they have the inclination to do so.
