"If we don't take that first step, then we will see another 35 million babies slaughtered in their mother's wombs while some sit around and complain that GW doesn't walk on water 24/7 and meet their core something the others. Lets take that first step, and let GW then use the bully pulpit against abortions.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't take that 1st step, it's just that too many people think the problem is solved once we do. My advice would be to cross your fingers while waiting for W to use the bully pulpit though. He has been reluctant to use is so far and holding your breath could be hazardous to your health. I'm disappointed that he hasn't used the bully pulpit much or the veto at all.

Lets take that first step, and let GW then use the bully pulpit against abortions.

That won't cut it. What is the President supposed to do regarding abortion? Issue an Executive Order against it?

Roe v. Wade, a ruling on "privacy" made out of whole cloth, is what keeps abortion alive. If the SCOTUS overturns that ruling, what happens? Abortion goes back to the States per the X Amendment.

You either have to get a "Right to Life" amendment to the Constitution to forever abolish abortion, or, you have to hope that Roe v. Wade is overturned and sent back to the States. For all the emotions for and against it, and even the evil that is abortion, these are the only two viable options.

G. W. Bush using the bully pulpit won't matter in the least about this issue. Not in the least.
