One is a Catholic if one is in Unity in Worship, Doctrine and Authority. At Mass, we profess that belief in the Creed "..One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic...." That trinity of realities encapsulated by "One" illuminates and defines what it means to be Catholic.

Is it Catholic or is it Protestant to oppose the authority of the Pope and is it Catholic or Protestant to reject Papal Encyclicals and Doctrines listed in a Universal Catechism the Pope promulgates and attests is a safe and sure sign of Christian Doctrine?

In your own words Okay, which is it?
