Rush has had the same beliefs about environmentalist whackos for years. I guess he liked Bush as long as he agreed with Rush 100%. Now Rush comes to the realization that the POTUS doesn't agree with him, doesn't need to and he cannot handle it.

I am tired of Rush bashing Bush and saying he's Algor is beyond belief. It is very irrational and probably driving lots of listeners away. IS RUSH TAKING STEROIDS FOR HIS AUTO IMMUNE DISORDER? They could be affecting his thought processes. FV

probably driving lots of listeners away.

From what I understand, those who prefer less government intrusion are tuning in in droves.
Bush really let a lot of real patriots down by joining the Democrats.
He might just as well pull a Jeffords and get on with it. No sence lieing to us anymore.

You make an excellent point regarding steroid use in auto immune disorders. Can't tell you how many times, I wondered that myself. I know Rush complained of the bloating effects, pre surgery- I do not know if steroids are given post implant, but one of the side effects of long term prednisone use is a an altered personality. But, there is no doubt in any of the minds of the large group of ex listeners that I know-Rush has definitely had a personality change and it seemed to coincide with his ear surgery. He's flat out mean, now.

When Rush lost his hearing, apparently his mind went with it. I heard him today, though I vowed I would give him up, and from what I heard, I would call him certifiably insane.

Grampa Dave, I'm sorry I didn't follow your advice, but I was almost glad I heard Rush make a Bush/algore comparison. Now I know he's in it for ratings, and not for truth, nor the Conservative cause. Any idiot knows the gulf between the algore and the President is enormous, and saying there is no difference has got to be for entertainment effect only.

As of today, I have lost all remaining respect for Rush.

yep, the "George W. Algore" comment---and that comment showing up on NBC NIGHTLY NEWS---was enough for me, if I hadn't had enough already.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Not only ridiculous, it was beyond the pale for a man who is so far above Algore in so many ways . . . well, it just made me sick.

RUSH OWES W. A PUBLIC APOLOGY OVER THAT ONE.
