Would somebody tell me, besides the war on terrorism (which is getting a bit big for its britches to me), what ten things Bush has done that even resembles conservative thought?

They can't. That's precisely why they call all people who question Bush's methods Democratic Underground plants. They either do that or sit on their little "A Day in the Life of President Bush" threads and talk about how sexy the president looks in his jeans or how steely his eyes seem. They are no better than the Clinton sycophants.

I know, LOL at your assessment.

The W @$$-kissers make me sick.

It was the same way with his dad.

When he did the "let's stop the war and go home one hour before total victory and totally ridding the world of Saddam Hussein," in 1991, I was livid.

When I went nuts in '92 with the older Bush going back on "Read My Lips", many said, "hey, he's just going for the middle, you watch."

Right.

W thinks just because of the 'cut of his jib' or some other east coast crap, that conservatives are going to like what he does enough to reelect him.

Man, he is wrong.

Just as, you will recall, X41 was wrong.

W butt-kissers: Wake up and bash W on one of your "Pray for W" threads.

Say something like, "Pray for W so that he will pull his head out of his a$$ and start acting a little more conservative than Al Gore, for a change."

Then maybe the White House mole who is assigned to follow the FR website would tell W that he is, finally, down to alienting the last one hundred nonsenile W voters in the United States.

I'll play your silly little game!

  1. Bush's DOD is going into full production on the Lockheed Martin PAC-3 missile, and Boeing et al are developing other ABM systems over the shrill objections of the luddites.
  2. Bush got the EP-3 crew back and then started flying reconnaissance missions again.
  3. Bush nixed Kyoto.
  4. Bush canceled the ABM treaty with the defunct USSR.
  5. Bush did more in Afghanistan than France's popular opinion would support if Algore was in charge.
  6. Bush's interior dept has backed off on the Klamath Falls farmers and is treating the sucker fish like a fish not a God.
  7. Bush's USAG rejected a congressional demand directly after 9/11 to use the FBI background check database to search law-abiding citizens for possible "terrorists."
  8. (You'll hate this contorsion)Bush avoided a fatal public relations defeat for gun rights by DENYING firearms to pilots!! 'Huh?' you say? Well a single injury on a plane caused by a pilot would permanently set back 2A rights for all Americans. IMHO. Besides, Richard Reid and Flt 93 proves that an unarmed passenger bay can be sufficient to deal with terrorists.
  9. Bush signed every tax cut that has come out of the democrap congress.
  10. Bush has made "conservatism" palatable to a liberal VOTING electorate of 75%. (How did Newt help the popularity of conservatism??)

A Democrat in the WH would get you NOTHING that you agree with, but a hollow pyhrric (sp?) victory.

Besides, what does this report give the enviro-weenies that they want??? N O T H I N G!!!! They hate Bush. Bush is an anti-environmentalist. Now he agrees with them? How is that good for their argument? And best of all, "maybe global warming exists, maybe it is partly because of human actions, we can't change it, so let's adapt."

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THAT????

You guys ask what, besides the war on terrorism, Bush as done that is conservative?

(1) *Besides*??!! C'mon. Let's be a little grateful. That's a pretty big besides.

(2) I think Drudge and, yes, Rush are playing this wrong. Bush has an entirely conservative response re what to do about global warming. He's just not fighting science on the causes. This is a much *safer* ground for conservatives to stand on. All these posting really overlook lots of language in this EPA report re *Kyoto* is *not* the solution and the relative efficacy of free market solutions to warming.

(3) Yeah, actually, I can name a lot of conservative things he's done. The touchstone issue for conservatives should be things like no discrimination against religion in the schools, abortion, etc. I think the Bush administration has been good on these issues.

(4) Bush has sent his Solicitor General to argue for gun rights in the Supreme Court.

Let's not eat our own.

[They are no better than the Clinton sycophants]

Actually, I suspect most of them of having been Clinton sycophants. Celebrity cultists switch celebrities as a matter of course according to which is given the most face time on TV.
