There are two bottom lines: one is that I trust this president; the second is that unlike the Dems, too many Republicans refuse to stand behind their president. The Dems know how to circle their wagons. You "red meaters" mostly seem intent on pulling ours apart.
But, in my judgment, Bush continues to warrant my support at this time. That does not make me James Carville or Paul Begala.
Surely you do not equate "stickin'" with a man such as Clinton, even after he committed crimes and obstructed justice, with continuing to support a president who, in your view, did not come out strongly enough against global warming.
If Dubya has oral sex with an intern and then lies about it, I'll be sure to criticize him to high heaven. I'd even vote to impeach him and remove him from office.
Oh, and if I disagree with Dubya on policy issues that I believe are of great importance, I'll be sure to criticize him on those points as well.
Other than that, I'm just like James Carville and Paul Begala. Watch for me on Crossfire next.
I don't understand this logic at all. If Gore was in office
making these decisions, this forum would be on him like
ugly on an ape. Now try to explain exactly how the outcome
would be different, if it were Gore.
