Rush could have made one phone call yesterday and the whole blow up, would have been quelled. A man of decency and honor, would have apologized to the wartime Commander in Chief for equating him to Algore and making a buffonish caricature of the President on his website. During wartime, when many are putting their lives at risk, in ways that will never be known, when thousands are already dead,to ridicule the Commander in Chief in such a way, speaks volumes about the character of Rush Limbaugh.

Using your logic, the best way for any President to avoid criticism is to make sure the country is always at war. Without opposition/criticism, they can have dictatorial power. You might like that with Bush in the White House, but you won't like with Hillary or her ilk in power. You may want to reconsider your position about when citizens are allowed to criticize their President.
