The issue is this - he who fights everywhere wins nowhere. you have to pick your fights - the way Admiral Chester Nimitz did sixty years ago TODAY, when he ignored one Japanese attack, and instead sprang a successful ambush that turned the tide of the war in the Pacific.
I believe he caught hell for letting a couple of Aleutian islands fall to the Japanese, but things worked out over the long term. Methinks that Admiral Nimitz's strategy of picking your fights is one we ought to adopt.

Tell me, which fight has Bush picked so far? I do not see many things he has done so far that would classify him as a conservative. The only two things I can think of are the tax cut and his decision against cloning (a no brainer). Where is his fight for the lives of the unborn (i.e. standing up to the baby killers in Congress who refuse to vote on his judgeship nominations)? Picking the right fights is one thing, but I do not see Bush fighting at all!! He's a wimpy president so far. In trying to please EVERYONE, he is torking off his base! Limbaugh is only the beginning pal. I want a fighter in the White House - someone who isn't afraid to stand up for moral principles!!
