.30-06 is good for down here in the South, but for them Canadian geese, you might want to go with a little more oomph, like, say a .458 Winchester.I've been charged and badly mauled by a Canadian goose, after hitting it three times with a .458 Winchester. Trust me, use nothing less than a .50 BMG.
