.30-06 is good for down here in the South, but for them Canadian geese, you might want to go with a little more oomph, like, say a .458 Winchester.

You have to aim for between the eyes. Only a brain shot will bring down a charging Canadian... "Boy, hand me the Gibbs Nitro-Express..."
