Mo1, you "can't" cook perfectly ... yet ... because you haven't made enough cooking mistakes. (I am serious.) If we have someone teaching us at home before we set up on our own, cooking is much easier. OR, we can learn the hard way through many trials and errors. I learned the hard way and have turned into an excellent cook, even to the point where a friend had me prepare and sell her and her husband dinners once a week. I have taught others how to cook. There are many cook's secrets that make cooking a breeze. You just need a little help, and patience with yourself. You can do it!

Gretchen, I always enjoy your posts, and I agree with Mo1 that you are always an optimist! I liked your theory on loving the terrorists (I have a hard time with that, too), and also I copied your thoughts about learning to cook and sent them to my youngest daughter. Hope you don't mind! She's already an accomplished little baker, but her poor hubby is starting to worry about DINNER every night! LOL. My daughter is too busy whipping up masterpieces with her new professional KitchenAid mixer!!
