This ex-football player still thinks soccer sucks. What's funny is that there are all these wuss-parents who'd rather their child play soccer than football-due to the thought that serious injuries are less likely in soccer. That couldn't be further from the truth, as I have had several sports doctors tell me that serious injuries in soccer and football are about the same. In fact, serious knee injuries in soccer are more frequent than in football. Of course Sucker Moms are never told this.
