Your knowledge of this conflict is incredible and I stand in awe. But you are right, that the conflict stems from when Islam came to the subcontinent, though the only ruler I can name that definitly cracked down on the Hindus (I think) was Tamerlane. Anyway, thank you for the History Lesson. I have always believed though, and I think for the most part correctly, that the British Colonialism, while colonialism and thus bearing that negative cross was far more positive for its respective colonies than the other european nations combined.
