The pastor did exactly the right thing. The proof lies in his vilification by pornographers and their ilk. The pastor will continue to earn the scorn and ridicule of the world long after this woman has earned the world's praise and gained wealth and notoriety as a consequence of her self-centered decision. By her own admission she isn't a victim. She had and has many, many options outside the pormography-stripper trade that could provide for her and her child. She willfully chose to be "good with a pole" and either won't or can't see how that is incompatible with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

This isn't even a close call. In fact, the reaction of supposedly Christian FReepers to this story will disclose immediately whether they have the Spirit or not. Those who do not will seek aggressively to justify her self-willed behavior, and will condemn the pastor who strived not just to minister to her temporal needs but to her and her child's spiritual needs as well.

Hmmmmm.....Seems to me, he could've handled it in a much quieter, more graceful, and ultimately more dignified manner.

Simply, had he let the kidlet, get thru Kindergarten and informed the mother she would not be had back, there would be no adverse media for his church or school, no Hype for the stripper, No Playboy shot....etc...

This is not the first ham handed disciplinary attempt by this guy.He is probably an O.K. sort, but the evidence seems to indicate that he acts first, and considers later....

You're very right aout this one Kevin. But there are both Christians and non-Christians attempting to justify this self-glorifying prostitute as some sort of Christian ideal. The sad part to me is in this reaction moreso than in the story itself. How far must we have fallen as a society to see this sort of reaction so wide spread on the right side of our political spectrum?

She somehow thinks the means justifies the ends....stripping will lead to money to pay for Christian education. This is BS. It's like some preacher robbing a bank to build a church. It doesn't fly. If you are filled with the Spirit, you have faith that God is going to provide for you without having to degrade yourself or sin doing it. She has absolutely no faith...If she did, she wouldn't compromise her self respect.

I bet she does not trust in the Lord to provide for her and the little girl. And if she really read the Bible, she would not be doing what she's currently doing. I'll bet she's doing all of this thinking it's an easy way to make more $$$. There is nothing "Christian" about this. She's fulfilling someone's lustful desires.
