Yep, it can happen, and fast. Yesterday a nose-ringed teen in a van changed lanes on top of me. Had to by the ditch. Fortunately the shoulder was wide and nothing was in the way.

Hope you are okay. Are you being facetious about the nose ring? Either he or she stopped to help you, or you didn't keep your eyes on the road.
