I'm sorry, you apparently have not understood any of the points I was trying to make. Often I don't express myself as well as I'd like to.
I certainly did not mean that we should give up. I do think we should focus on the MESSAGE, not the MESSENGER, no matter how well the messenger expresses the message.
And I surely did not mean that you were bashing Dr. Keyes (although, if I had said what you said in post #57, someone would surely have accused me of bashing him!)
But remember, you said your "original recallection was very faulty" - there are others who have gotten an impression from watching the show, and then couldn't find what they remembered Dr. Keyes saying in the transcript - perhaps you understand their point a little better now?

I see a problem here - instead of freely discussing important issues we are being pushed by the correctness crowd into camps of bashers vs fanatics. If you or I disagree with Alan's position on the yesterday show about new FBI freedoms we would be declared as bashers (by no others than the bashing crowd). Prior to the show I listened to Michael Savage and he was very concerned about the new laws bestowed on the FBI without involvement of the proper authority - the Congress! Alan could argue about the need for the new powers but without the Congress (that is strangely silent on this) the power of making laws are now seems to be at the hands of the three people - president, attorney general and the FBI director.
Now before I am being put back with bashers - this is Michael Savage take. I am listening to all sides before making a conclusion.
