If you decide to follow the links, you will find out that the group that is putting out this new translation backed out of an agreement on translation guidelines and that they mischaracterized and flat-out lied about this issue.

Dobson is not alone on his condemnation of the new version. Anyone who spends even five minutes researching this issue will find out the new version has essentially been abandoned by everyone except those with an agenda of political correctness.
Well I'd like to see them try to re-write Leviticus in a gender neutral way. On second thought that sounds sickening. It can't be done and preserve the integrity of the book. As for Dobson he actually is pretty open minded. It's true he condems the gay lifestyle but he has a ministry to help them out of the lifestyle. Perhaps this pains the liberal establishment as well that change is required and can through GOD be accomplished. Dobson tries to run a repectable ministry. There has been some scandles and he has dealt with them head on. He's one of the best voices of reason I know of on Christian/Conservative issues.
