Bunker Hill was just a little misunderstanding between the colonists and the British. Both sides wanted to use the spot as a picnic area. Unfortunately, a conflict evolved, an NOONE wanted an argument, so the colonists left to find another place, graciously ceding the hill to the Redcoats. Same thing happened at First Manassas, but the Confederates told the Yankees to find their own damn spot!
