I need more evidence. Your one-day suspension was an eye-opener, no doubt, but let's give it some time to sort itself out. In due course the policy will become clear. Right now I don't think it is.
It's becoming pretty clear now. Bigfoot rules.
Why is the silence on the part of the moderators necessary? Some statement of policy would clear this up. Right now, all there is, is a stew of suspicions, created out of a creo broth.
It is puzzling. If science threads aren't welcome, then they should be deleted. It may be against the policy of the site to discuss ideas outside current events and politics. If that is the case, then it should be made obvious.
Another possibility, it that questioning religion is not welcome here, as this is a conservative site. If so, then the scientific threads could arguably be deleted. Or, pro-science posters and posts could be deleted.
What bugs me, is that posts and certain posters get deleted without explanation. A little sticky note in the thread is not too difficult, and the other moderated forums I participate on, have such things. Without explanation, the only evidence to the management policy is who is deleted. The deletions all tend to be evolution supporters. And, there are tinfoil hat wearing crackpots that post ridiculous things days after day without being deleted.
It does a disservice to this website to let the apparent policy continue. It is up to the management to run the site however they want, but to lower the level of discussion by creepy neo-communist tactics implies that none of us will be around much longer - voluntarily or otherwise.
Maybe someone else has an answer to why the silence is so deafening?
