Relativity theory teaches that there is no NOW, and that the future is already spread out in some sense before us. That is one reason why, I think, so many good scientists do believe in God.
I don't really see how the former leads to the latter.

It doesn't, in and of itself. The point from the diff. examples was that much of the universe remains hidden from us. Many scientists believe they understand just about everything, from a scientific point of view. But science only sees a tiny fraction of what exists in this universe. Scientists who understand that can allow, in their minds, for the existence of much that is unseen, including God. My examples don't show the existence of God, only that God is possible for those grounded in scientific thought.
