I believe phone records showed he called his former mistress Anna Marie, at midnight from a Luray pay phone. Remember how she stated that Condit stated he had to 'lie low for awhile'. I don't recall if Condit ever explained his presence there. Perhaps a late evening drive on his motorcycle.
