Report: Chandra's Family Believes Condit Did It

The Chandra Levy murder remains in Wednesday's headlines, mainly because the "whodunit" has a political link.

According to The Hill , a newspaper covering the Capitol, the Levy family considers Rep. Gary Condit -- a California Democrat -- a suspect in Chandra's murder.

Chandra's family mourned her death on Tuesday, just hours after the D.C. medical examiner ruled that the 24-year-old woman had been murdered. Based on the skeletal remains found in a Washington park, however, the medical examiner could not say exactly how she was killed.

According to The Hill , Chandra's family is now redoubling their efforts to link Chandra's death to Condit, who lost the Democratic primary in March - and therefore, will lose his seat in Congress in January.

Condit is "in seclusion," according to his aides.

A Levy family source told The Hill , "We believe that in her final days on this earth that he [Condit] found out that other people knew about the affair, and we believe that he was trying to break off the relationship."

According to the police investigation, Condit's wife Carolyn was in Washington when Chandra disappeared.

I would imagine Condit's sex life is not so hot these days. When he looks at a woman, he probably sees an FBI decoy. When he sees a man walking a dog, he probably sees an FBI tail. When he hears a crackle on his phone connection, he probably hears a phone tap.

Well, if Bob Franken is Condit's #1 supporter, his #2 Supporter is John Walsh of America's Most Wanted! That man is working Overtime to try to find someone OTHER than Condit! Am I the only one who noticed that? The man's amazing....he'll pin it ANYONE other than Condit. I think it's the Bill Clinton-syndrome. I recall reading in the Modesto Bee around mid-May that Mrs. Levy reported an offer from Condit to see about posting a 10K reward for her missing daughter. This was during her phone conversation with him on the evening of 5/6. She was in a panic. Dr. Levy had already called the DC police to report his daughter missing and had still not heard back from them. The next day, 5/7, Condit placed a call on her behalf to the DC Police, asking if a reward fund could be set up. Several days later, he ponied up 10K to add to the 25K the Levys were offering.

IMO, there is nothing particularly incriminating about these events. The Levys had already reported her missing to the police, a fact Condit was well aware of by the time he suggested a reward. Either way, it was a no-risk offer for him since the money wasn't his. It would come out of his campaign fund and belonged to his constituents. At the time, he didn't need to worry much about campaign funds since his seat was still secure and he still had reason to believe it would remain so.

In the Jon Binet Ramsey case the police focused on the family from the beginning and let their bias disrupt normal police procedures. Example, conducted their neighborhood canvas ONE YEAR, for crying out loud!, after the murder. How many people would have anything to say to the question, "Did you notice anything unusual the night of the murder?" and its 12 months later!!!

The Keystone Kops in DC are just as stoopid! Condidit had motive and means. His alibi is full of holes and his post disappearance behaviors of obfuscating, disposing of evidence and suborning perjury from his other "lover" isn't circumstantial. Nail the b*stard.

Yesterday I ran across some statistics that said the number one relationship between a male victem and his murderer is drugs. That in women the number one (And more than all of the others combined) is a relationship (sexual) with the murderer. CONDIT MUST be considered a suspect by the DCPD. I think they are just stringing him along because the FBI has bigger things (Like espionage) in mind.

Yeah, Walsh pretty much destroyed his own credibility with this case. He has been bending over backwards to try to prove this murder was the random act of a serial killer while conveniently overlooking all of Condit's VERY suspicious actions.

Do we know how long before it took place that the meeting was scheduled?

What was /is the purpose of the meeting?

Was Cheney hauled before the grand jury to verify the meet?

Have official documents,(logs,diarys,whatever) been offered up?

Anyone have any leaks about who has been called to the grand jury?

Wht doesnt the media camp out in front of the public hallway, and spy on who goes in and out?

Has Ann MArie Smith been called to the grand jury?
