Read the article again, but I can post more information about if you like. His trial was during the first week on May 2001. This means he was sitting in jail and was waiting for his trial.

Okay. I reread the article. It is dated as being published in May 2002, not May 2001. So I can assume the trial was in May 2002. Then, the article says: "The June 4 incident in which he tried to drag a woman inside his home at Aspen Hill Road and Arctic Avenue..." With this quote and many others, I have to assume that albert was free to try to snag his neighbor in June 2001, since it is not June 2002 yet. The date that this article was published, and the way it is written clearly establishes that albert was free until he was arrested in June 2001. Perhaps the article publication date is wrong or the reporter got his/her facts wrong on the other dates cited within the article?
