Egads! Mueller, the clean-up guy, will make sure this case comes out sanitized. He wasn't voted in 98-0 for nothing.

Read the article as there is more information like...
~ Gainer said police are also searching for the yellow-gold initial ring that Levy usually wore. It was not found in her apartment and was not recovered in the park. The ring had a dark, flat surface, he said, and the initials "CL." Levy's apartment keys also have not been recovered.

Ramsey said police will send Levy's clothing and other items found in the park to the FBI laboratory in Quantico for tests. He said officers also will review the cases of people arrested for committing other crimes in the park. The other night, we were watching a documentary on the FBI's storage facitilty of evidence.(forgive me cuz i can't remember the name of the show, channel or dept) IE:They have every single paint chip sample, fiber sample, hair sample and literal tons of evidence samples I think there is known to man. My point it may be common to have evidence shipped to the FBI for help.. what say ye

Thnx brigette..that helps a lot.

Wait a sec..I thought they found the ring? I remember an article about it a few days ago..someone asked if it were a rape/robbery..why wouldn't they take the ring or something like that. Did you per chance see it?
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
If the local poh-lease have to rely on the feds, they're worthless as teats on a chicken, that's what I have to say.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
Chances are it was a false information leak, they DO NOT have the ring and their is no mention of the bracelet at all. So we do not know if was found in the apartment earlier or if it was actually missing.

Oh goodie, we've got the famous FBI experts, memo shredders and career ladder climbers on the case. Now it'll get solved in a jiffy!
"-- Say, Roger, d'ya think saying we found this will help my promotion application?"
"-- Junk it Jim. Better play it safe!"

The bracelet is what I am refering to in this statement
To: Fred Mertz
Yeah, but if they had been any good, they would have found her a year ago.
Maybe they should have had someone directing the initial search--or actually conducting the search.

To: brigette
I wonder if there is any DNA evidence on the leggings or jog bra? (you all know the kind I'm talking about)

No... all this information is taken straight from the article which is a Washington Post article and cannot be fully posted here due to copyright issues. The best thing to do is read the article fully as I just posted parts of it that I think include new information or important facts in the case.
To: goldenstategirl
We can only hope they pick up trace evidence or dna evidence from your belongings. It will probably be months before even the police get the results from the tests that will be done over the next few months.

Sorry the typo your should be HER in my last post
To: brigette

Excuse me but ... is not this a job for the National Park Police?
To: Helen
Thank you, Helen ... I was talking about that photo on another thread. Condit and the pinky ring ... when that photo appeared, there was much discussion on the Modbee discussion board. Billy Martin was advised by e-mail about the ring and our suspicions.
