President Bush attended a NATO ceremony today called the 'Rome Declaration', which made Russia a junior member. Bush also raised concerns regarding the child sex scandal in the Catholic Church as he met with Pope John Paul. The President and First Lady returned to the White House late this afternoon. Get those right-clicks ready and enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thank you, I can't believe I missed that in the opening paragraphs. HARD day today!
That's Italian singer Andrea Bocelli (I highly recommend his CDs!) and Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi on the piano.

I don't comment on things like that, because I am not Catholic. He certainly looks a lot older, which is sad. On the other hand, his carrying on when beset by age and illness is an example to those of us who struggle with small problems. I believe he is a good man and will do the right thing for the Church, whatever that might be.

Yes he can retire but I don't think he is finished doing his work yet and that is why he won't retire

Evening Seven. I don't know what to say about the pope. I think he'll do what is best for the church. I would have loved to hear what the pope and President Bush talked about today.

Did you know that was a private, private audience? No aides, no translators, no press. Just President Bush and Pope John Paul.

What a great European trip for President Bush. Success everywhere you look. Laura and W were always in tip top shape and looking their best. They are A #1 classy people. I am so proud of these two. They are always on their best behavior. Everyone in the world must envy us so...... especially liberals... to have such a classy couple as our President and First Lady. Ahhhhhhhhh.........

There is no doubt that George W. Bush is the one leading these guys, They are comfortable with it, they understand his ability to lead, Now if our Press will ever show the same respect we might see a hault to the shameful questions like David Gregory asked of our President when he was arrived in France. But I guess that's too much to ask
