What is the current status of the trial; pakistani press is hard to figure out. One report i read claimed the body wasn't circumcised. Other reports claimed that dental records had provided a positive ID.

The ultimate reason why the US do not press for more transparency and answers to the above questions is likely the ultimately uncomfortable truth that Pakistan (Musharraf included) are better friends with Beijing, and the PRC's Trans-Asian Axis, than they are with the US. Of course, once this door is thrown open, then there will be an angry mob of US corporations after the throats of those of us who have dared to question such good friends as either Pakistan or the PRC. Bad for business, you know...
