Correction :-)
Her mother (and half the Nation) is still convinced that Condit knows more than he has admitted to

The Levy family will continue with their private investigation.
The fact that the area where she was found was not initially searched has compromised the case.

I was very impressed by the ME, Dr. Arden. I feel comfortable with his findings. He said there is just no way from the bones that remain to be certain of the cause of death, and he did refer to the crack in the skull which I heard one reporter ask about. He said there was just not enough to determine a cause. As for strangulation, that's more determinable when there is an actual body, rather than skeletal remains.
I was surprised at the ME, and had expected someone of less competence, but he was impressive.

Con-didit was smart in not mentioning his relationship with Chandra until months had passed. The longer a body is allowed to deteriorate, the less evidence is available. I wonder with his penchant for kinky sex if the same strangulation technique was used as in the case with Jon Benet Ramsy.

Exactly. Well done, DC "investigators". Your check is surely in the mail from "da boss".

Good thing I quit drinking coffee...my screen would be a mess after seeing that donut...
To: dalebert
No DNA testing was performed, and no other tests are scheduled.

The murderer can breathe easy. Washington DC's finest are on the case--masters of the "bleedin' obvious" (to paraphrase a Fawlty Towers episode).

Good point, Spunky. The skull was not even mentioned today. They can unearth people in South America whose remains are thousands of years old and tell how they were murdered. Yet, in D.C., they give a murky press conference.
Would any bone fragments have any hormonal changes if she was PG? Too bad if she was PG, that she didn't tell anyone. Maybe she wanted TO TELL THE FATHER FIRST. HMMMMMMMM?
To: dalebert
The M.E. said there was no need to perform DNA tests since they already have a positive ID due to dental records. I presume he's only talking about testing th bones and not the other items. I don't believe he commented on the latter.
Another item of note that I didn't see commented on above is that there was no indication that the bones had been moved.
To: kattracks
No other tests ON THE BODY are scheduled. I'm sure there is plenty of other stuff to test from the scene.

He didn't mention any crack in her skull. So the news media talking a crack in her skull for several days was just
another one of those hyped up stories.

That's what the forensic expert said. According to the ME there are no other tests scheduled.

Bring on the Professional! The bird knows, I tell ya!
To: kattracks
strange, since dna testing is used on everything now. How do we know for sure its Chandra? Could be someone else. I havn't seen any proof.

But he's only in charge of the body, not the evidence. I cannot believe they aren't testing all that stuff they found at the scene.

That guy looks exactly like Chief Wiggum, and you know what's worse, he does his job just like Chief Wiggum.
