I'm a native Californian of German-Irish heritage. My daughter is half Philippino, and therefore only 50% Caucasian herself. Race has nothing to do with this.

Everybody wants to come to America — had you noticed? And even people who do not actually want to live here are making sure their children have the right to do so.

I think eliminating the provision that a child born in this country is automatically a citizen would be at least a small step in curtailing illegal immigration.
