Now, now boys, you don't really " get it " at all. The ability to make money ( lots of it ) , usually means that a man is intelleigent.

Not necessarily so. The ability to intimidate, swindle (legally), and luck seem to be major factors.

Never underestimate the power of connections, especially ones tha are generations old.

Some make it on brains, but far more make it on BS.

That sounds like a bit of sour grapes to me. There is a science to making money. It has been said that the world's entire wealth could be equally distributed to every person on the globe and within 10 years the same people that controlled it before would be the same people that resumed control. I have never met a loser that didn't say someone else got where they are or what they have because of "connections". That is BS.

Not really . Many scions of wealthy famlies, those with good connectionss, and keep the wealth or increase it, are also intelligent. They have social graces, went to the best schools, and aren't dumb / thieves / immoral / or whatever else you claim. There are idiots and bad apples in all social strata . The wealthy don't all get there by trickery , underhandness, and theft.

Marxist cant ( or are you just jealous ? ) doesn't belong on FR !

Only if men let them. It's another test of intelligence.
