Hey, Indiana, when I told you to take a flying *%$#, I didn't mean it literally. Take a pill of some kind and lie down for a week or so. Better yet, go disrupt the Daily W Swoonfest thread or something.

The FBI needs a fumigation just as bad as the Boston archdiocese and for the same reason, Misfeasance and or Malfeasance in the management, for decades.

The majority of FBI personel are good, honest people who believe in their job of law enforcement and protection of all citizens but there exist misguided and corrupt agents and officials within the FBI that will go to any means to accomplish their agenda. Last week's stock pickers, Boston's mafia protectors just to name a few.

See, sinkspur, the Bile is rising in many people who can't accept the corruption anymore. And you and several others expect us to just shut up and be good little sheep. Ain't gonna happen!

The bile is always boiling in you, davis. You'd shrivel up if you weren't constantly in high dudgeon.

I notice you've given up defending OKCSub's lame articles and his entire contention that Bush ordered the investigation of Saudis stopped.

No sources, no evidence, nothing.

Patrick, at least in your OKC Bombing writings you had some named sources, albeit they were mostly unreliable.

Here, you come close to accusing Bush of murdering American citizens with no proof whatsoever!

Saying that "O'Neill is likely the source" ain't gonna get it. Either he is, and is willing to go on the record, or he's not willing to go on the record, in which case he's unreliable.

Of course, O'Neill is dead, so who knows what he actually said.

Calling people "shills" because they expose the weaknesses of your contentions won't fool those who actually read your articles.

Patrick, I've concluded you're a conspiracy nut who's mission on this forum is to bring down anybody in authority. You've tried to smear Senator Inhofe, Rep. Istook, Frank Keating, and now George Bush. With nothing. Nothing.

You're known by the company you keep, and you've surrounded yourselves with the biggest group of tin-foil pinheads on the Internet.

Is this one of those Thierry-Messian-like books, that claims that the US government staged the 9/11 attacks?

Isn't the Thierry-Messian book the one that claims that the Pentagon was not hit by a plane? No, Ben Laden: La Vérité Interdite, by Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquié, struck me as a sensible book, not a loony one, when I read it. Brisard had been a staffer for a U.S. Senator, then became a researcher on international business ties, especially of terrorists. Dasquié is head of the Web site Intelligence Online, which has gotten high-level leaks from U.S. government sources.

"btw, did his book ever get published?"

That's a good point. I believe he was ordained a Hero here also, wasn't he?

I believe the two Ladies most affected by Mena might disagree there.

Regarding no US sources:

What about the Boston Herald article posted in reply #20?

Massachusetts is still part of the USA isn't it?

And I keep seeing the same methods time after time from you folks.

Smile, sinkspur, things are only going to get better. You'll be very busy of course, but that's Security. eh?

BTW, why do we see these dark screennames on you guys? Sinkspur, mojo, stuff like that?

What does that article have to do with anything? It draws inferences and innuendo from the fact that Akin Gump has represented Saudis in the United States. So what?

No they are not, especially when they are intelligence sources. Do you really expect some CIA guy who's talking to a reporter to be quoted? Have you ever heard of "Deep Throat?"

However, given the penchant of the lamestream press for making up things that CAN be checked out with relative ease, any and all reports from "unnamed sources" that cannot be independently verified must be taken with a grain of salt.

A large grain of salt.

One roughly the size of Mount Rushmore.

"Dark"? You must be off your meds

My screenname comes from a John Wayne western comedy, MCCLINTOCK.

I knew that I. C. Smith was in the Navy before joining the FBI, but didn't know about his national security responsibilities.

I haven't heard anything about the book lately. I'll try to check at Amazon later and see if they have a listing.

"My screenname comes from a John Wayne western comedy, MCCLINTOCK."

That wasn't the explanation you gave a few years ago. Try to remember back, while I check a few old floppies.

Inferences aren't proof. I can draw an inference from your screen name, for instance, that you play baseball, and possibly third base.

Is that proof that you do?

I do remember back; that's the only explanation I've ever given.

It comes from a Chill Wills line, when he tells Kate (Maureen O'Hara) that he just saw G.W. (John Wayne) "jump on his horse, and sink spur."

Your conspiracy coven has ascribed some sinister meaning to it, no doubt, but it didn't come from me.

Inferences are not proof - but they are a beginning.

First you make observations - then inferences - then more pieces are put together confirming the inferences and shaping them - then the story is accepted as probably true.

I said probably - because as you well know, some people will never be convinced.

You are not of the mind that observations and inferences should be left to the professionals like the FBI are you?
