Interesting. My 'A' team was a free fall team too. I would like to do another "High Altitude, Low opening" free fall deployment myself.

Special Forces, penetrates deeper, stays longer, and packs a heavier load. ;-)

I was an 18E. That was quite a switch from being a 67N on flight status. I thought Hueys drove me insane until I learned International Morse Code and had the honor of humping that sort of rucksack around. It was heavy.

Amen to that! Block leave was a killer.

But, with both A and B bags at the ready, the Eighty-Deuce must be prepared to be anywhere in the world in 18 hours.
