Retired Vietnam Vet. US Army 1960-1980 Command Sgt. Major Dad WW II Vet. Three sons all active duty: Army(Ranger), Coast Guard and Navy.

Dad- Lt. Col 'Jack" Strange Army Air Corp-USAF 1943-1970.Lied to join at age 16. WWII German Occupation, OCS, Bomber in Korea, Trained pilots for Taiwan at CCKABAT, retired from MacDill.

My Dad retired in 1973 as Air Force Colonel Charles (Chet) Chesterman with 33 years in WWll, Korea, And as a Wing Commander out of McCord AFB For the Viet Nam years.
When he was widowed In 1960, with three small children, he convinced Major Eula Nell Foster to become Mrs. Charles Chesterman, and I am lucky enough to have as wonderful a second Mom as was the first.
I'm am glad I was raised an A.F. Brat!
