I took Little Critter (Nathan - 3 1/2) to his Day Care um, SCHOOL, today.
Not accustomed to dealing with his car seat, always a parent or sibling to fasten it,
when I arrived there, I asked him how to release it.
Replied, "You push it!" (logical at 3!)
"Where, Nathan?"
"Down there!! ( pointing with one finger..:))"
At a temporary impasse, I told him "I think you might just have to sit here all day!"
He laughed hysterically at the thought.
He makes a great audience!
(Yes, I finally managed to see the thing below where he can't reach it to push it and 'escape.')
We also had a lesson in relationships.
"You're Dad's Mom."
"No, honey, I'm your MOM'S Mom."
Firmer voice: "You're DAD'S Mom!"
Imagine we'll have to repeat this lessom..:)))
