I always thought Rudy would be a fabulous president. Too bad some FReepers have no vision beyond their pure partisan ideology. They would be unsupportive of him because he is not a far right pro life candidate. The man is a great leader.

I am about as pro-life as you can get, but after watching that documentary tonight I couldn't help but wonder again about God's hand in all of this. New York couldn't have asked for a finer mayor on that "great and terrible day."

I don't know if he would make a good president, but I do believe 9/11/01 was the reason Rudy Giuliani was born.

If we get the kind of leaders we deserve, then New York is (was) truly one heck of a great city.

It's funny to me that all the leaders in charge of the areas that were affected that day (in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania) were Republicans. I'm not sure if God is trying to tell us something or not. I'm just glad we had them.
