Forrest Shoaf is currently a republican candidate in the 7th Congressional District. Shoaf has been General Counsel to Lamar Alexander's 1996 Presidential campaign. An airborne Ranger, he is a graduate of West Point, Harvard Law School and the Air Force War College.

He was a regular on Teddy Bart's Round Table and before he became a canidate for congress he went on record as being so opposed to the income tax, he would sue the state of Tennessee if they passed it.
